I am writing this not because I was asked to or solicited by the builder. I am writing this because I want anyone looking at this website to know my opinion of Atkinson Custom Homes. For a brief history, I have built several custom homes and dealt with builders and construction foremans. This isn't my first custom home experience......but, it may well be my best !! He is informative and makes sure the quality of your home is of the highest standard. Zac is a great builder, his approach to the process and attention to detail is impeccable. He knows how to relate to his clients and deliver. I can say without hesitation, when and if I decide to build another home, I will build with Zac and Atkinson Custom Homes. "After eight arduous months of looking at homes in a wide spectrum of price ranges in the Boerne area, we ultimately decided that the house by Atkinson Custom Homes was not only the closest match to our personal style but also the best value available on the market. What initially attracted us to the house were the high-end designer details in everything from the use of real wood beams in the ceiling to the extra thick granite counter tops in the kitchen to the wide interior and exterior doors. The floor plan is also extremely well thought out and features an expansive living area with a resort-sized fireplace, a master suite unrivaled in quality by homes in even the upper echelon of pricing tiers, and two very private guest rooms. Additionally, we appreciated the extra touches that were incorporated into our landscape design, especially the wall trellised with creeping vines and the use of more mature trees and shrubs instead of the weak little ones you so often see in new construction. We have been in our home for almost a year and what we now appreciate most about Atkinson Custom Homes is the incredible level of attention and service afforded to us by Zac, the owner. Instead of being completely inaccessible or remote after closing, Zac has gone above and beyond to respond to all of our questions and minor warranty issues in a very timely and enthusiastic manner. As we are new to the area, we have contacted him for referrals and with questions that were not even technically his responsibility, but he has always exhibited the utmost professionalism and patience and has helped us find solutions every step of the way. As our family grows over the next couple of years, we anticipate that we will be confronted with the need to move into a larger house.
